The national 2009
DOWNBEAT Music Award recipient,
Latin Connection
was created by 15 year old composer/pianist,
Chase Morrin.
The band plays
original jazz and Latin jazz compositions written by Chase and
puts together unique and original Latin jazz arrangements—striving
for the best sounds. The band invites a variety of talented
guest artists to feature and hopes to promote live music and the
jazz tradition in San Diego. The band rehearses once a week
and invites you to come rehearse with them.
