Biography
|
Brian Wright - Bass
Brian has been playing music for 41
years, starting when he was 8. He played with the Michigan state jazz
band for two years. In San Diego, Brian has played with Jaime Valle,
the late Hollis Gentry, Yavaz, various big bands and small combos.
Brian has been playing in the
Chris Klich Quintet for the last
8 years. He plays both upright and electric bass. |

Bob Daniels - Drums
Bob's professional start in music began
with the Air Force Band from 1964-1968 during which time he played
with known musicians, Tom Coster (keyboards & vibes), Jim Roberts
(piano), John Porter ( tenor), Efram Wolfolk III (bass) and others.
From 1968-1969 he played in Cocoa Beach, Florida and San Francisco
before settling in San Diego at the end of 1969.
Recently Bob plays with his own group, The People's Republic of
Jazz, and with the best of the local jazz scene: Karin Carson, Josh
White, Doug Walker, Bryan Whelan, Ian Tordella, Jay Jay Lim, Harley
Magsino, Melonie Sacalamitao, Justin Grinnell, Rob Thorsen, Jeff
Denson, Joey Carano, Travis Daudert, Tim Nunnink, Jeff Miles, Gary
Lefebvre, and many more! Bob also plays big bands which
include
The Jazz Ensemble, Big Band
Express and Rey Vinole's Center City Jazz Orchestra.
